As a Supervisor at Valor Security Services I had the responsibility to train the new officers as they arrived; to make sure that they knew all of the knowledge and skills that were necessary to have while out in the area. Also, I would do certain paper work that needed to be done on my shift so the next Supervisor coming on duty knew what happened on my shift. Third of all, we would have Supervisor meetings every Tuesday where we would talk about certain things that were happening with our officers or area, and I would have to talk about different suggestions I had or concerns that were bought to my attention. At times I would have to climb on a ladder just to be able to put them on the shelves. When finished organizing and putting clothes up, I will take out the trash; so the next morning I come into work I will have a clean and efficient work environment. Show less

      • Jun 2009 - Dec 2009

As a Supervisor at America's Thrift Store I had the duty of making sure our sales floor was neat and orgainzed so our customers could shop safely. At times I would have to run a register because we would be so busy, and I would help the lines/crowd move faster. My job also detailed me helping our customers with any questions about our sales or advertisement they may have, or just to give a helpful hand in finding anything that they may have needed. The end of my shifts I would count down the registers to ensure that in the morning it was ready for usage. Show less
