  My role as Curriculum Team Leader is to lead on the delivery of a range of programmes equipping our students with skills for their future through the delivery of outstanding education and training and inspire students to achieve their potential.Main duties include providing pre and on course guidance, coordinating and leading on the delivery of our Games Design Foundation Degree, planning and delivery of study programme, undertaking a range of necessary admin tasks, ensuring academic rigour and growing and shaping the curriculum offer.

  I am responsible for the planning, delivery and marking of 5 units, three of which are core units. These are Introduction to Media and Textual Analysis, Media Planning and Pre-Production, Media Production, Cartooning and Animation and Video Production and Editing. My duties for this role include structuring each unit, planning all sessions, teaching both theoretical and practical subjects, writing and setting assignments and marking.Additional Learning Support Practitioner - BTEC National Diploma in Media (Moving Image; My responsibilities as an Additional Learning Support Practitioner on the BTEC National Diploma in Media Production include providing academic support to students who have additional learning needs. My duties here include taking notes, working one-on-one with learners to confirm their understanding and assisting with spelling, grammar and technical vocabulary. Additionally, I support all the learners with both the theoretical and practical aspects of the course, necessitated by the large class size and facilitated through my broad subject knowledge.

  I set up and ran my own small business creating wedding videos. This involved meeting with clients, creating promotional material, producing videos and dealing with the money and administrative side. Visiting Lecturer - OCR National Extended Diploma in Media, Animation and Games (Unit 3, Production; I was responsible for the planning, delivery and marking of a video production unit on the OCR National Extended Diploma in Media, Animation and Games course.
