Founder and CEO

Apr 2004 - Present
The founder bit means that as the business has grown I've done anything and everything required to help make a success of the business (ably aided and abetted by the now retired co-founder Colin). Nowadays as CEO I see myself more as protector and prodder of our wonderful team, champion and chief critic of our product, reader and writer of recurring reports, partner and provocateur to our amazing community, world-wide wanderer and educational wonderer - always trying to live up to my accorded title, Chief Mischief Maker. Started as a lecturer in education at the School of Education (Walsall). Quickly promoted to Senior Lecturer (as part of promotion to being the school's Technology Supported Learning co-ordinator). Final 3 years spent as a PL in the Centre for Learning and Teaching. It was in this role that I introduced eportfolios to the university.
