MY ROLE: I was hired into a new Agency as a Patrol Officer and promoted to the Investigation Unit as Detective, reviewing felony cases and investigating major crimes. I was promoted to my current role as Sergeant in the Patrol Division, overseeing and supervising shift operations for a team of 8. I completed training as Rangemaster for the Department of 25 officers. As Special Events Sergeant, I oversaw 15 special events, managing law enforcement teams of 8 officers working cross-functionally to direct event security and provide personal protection. MY IMPACT: -Serve as Rangemaster for Department, overseeing Department Firearms Program and three direct report instructors. -Attended training in San Diego prior to assuming Special Events Sergeant role; member of Emergency Response team.
