  Established in 1984, the Marion County R-II Firefighters and First Responders are based out of Philadelphia, MO and cover the Marion County R-II School District minus some portions of the northern area which are covered by the R4 District. Our FD serves a district that covers in excess of 104 (mostly rural) square miles not including the additional areas covered under our Mutual Aid agreements. Our department consists of Fire Fighters as well as Paramedics, EMT's, & First Responders.
