  -Deal regularly with technical failures of both hardware (mixing desks, microphones, servers) and software (Website, music software). Using analytical and systematic approaches, I uncover the source of the problem, eliminate the causes at least temporarily, and review the reasons for the failure in order to devise a method to prevent any reoccurrence. -Continually operate under pressure as every minute an issue isn't resolved, the station is not broadcasting. This has given me a practical and physical application of analytical and problem solving skills which I have been developing during enquire based learning sessions within my university course. -Directing presenters over the phone on how to deal with problems they encounter during broadcast and guiding them on how to prevent the issue reoccurring.   -Attended various size meetings, observed how they were conducted as well as individual roles within them. Established an understanding of business structure by enquiring about relevant topics during organised interviews with members from the financial, marketing and human resources departments. -Studied how the plant control room was operated, including the systems and programmes used. Learnt how to track readings for specific pieces of equipment. Processed incoming and outgoing resources in the plant's warehouse and discovered how to trace a specific bottle of product to the shipment, batch and plant. -Shadowed an engineer conducting regular maintenance. I checked and recorded pressure gauge and digital thermometer readings against required standards, as well as assisted in the replacement of a faulty valve. -Acquired a good understanding of the R&D sector during a talk with the head of the department. Gained a valuable insight into everyday work life, and the importance of planning time effectively. -Analysed samples of final product in biochemical lab to certify that the required quality standards had been met.
