Boehm Electric 2012 (less than a year) This was my first real chance at doing some electrical. Met some solid dudes here who knew their stuff. Lesson learned: Always know where the wire stretchers are Stay Humble. Great experience I was able to travel to a couple of different towns while working. 12 dollars an hour. #Know your worth -Rough in electrical boxes in apartment complexes -Rough in raceways with electrical romex -Trim out receptacles, switches, and lights. After doing this job I attended ICC and learned how to wire and color code breaker/panel boxes. And I recently learned how to look up wire sizes based on ampacities though I need practice with it. As well as conduit bending. Im good with trigonometry, marking off conduit, doing different types of bends, I could probably even figure out take up again with enough time. Though this was all learned at a trade school not on the job. This job paid for my tools. #Throw a dog a bone I got 10 on a piece of pipe to bend. Show less

Watched a coworker literally give a man back his envelope full of money after leaving it in the vehicle. Left to my own devices Id a second guessed it but probably not followed through with stealing something like that, especially from an old person. Respect your elders < 3. I may or may not have got the wheels loose on a young adults corvette in the wash. It wasnt a mazeratte. If only I would have waited. Lol loved this job. I will own a sports car one day, "again". But man could I lather up that expensive oil based paint. Got away doing the trim on a real nice house in the heights. Didnt get paid =/ We were there because they had a guy slacking on the job and we were supposed to be there as motivation/help. :shrug I was almost doing it right. Lathering it up and cleaning up the drips with my clothes. Smart one im telling ya. Lesson learned: talk with the contractor and learn how much time is available and what safety precautions need to be taken so you dont have to be put on the back burner away from the job. Sometimes its better to figure things out the hard way. No lesson learned comes easy. It can be cheap, good, or fast. Not all 3. Show less
