I have known Shane Guy since I joined Leeds Castle in 2009 as Operations Director and much enjoyed working with him in his role as Head of Publicity and subsequently when he took over the operations role at the Castle, up until I left in 2017. Always attentive and putting the interests of the castle and the people for whom he was responsible first, over the years Shane accumulated a wide range of skills and proved to be a competent and effective manager and communicator, with broad experience in PR, IT, Data Protection, Marketing, Operational Direction and Event Management. Combining hands-on operational performance with a good strategic grasp of the business aims and requirements, he was a key figure in the development of the castle and its clear success; and I commend him to any employer seeking an honest, loyal and efficient executive.
