I managed product orders for four different restaurants and analyzed forecasting reports to determine optimal order quantity for the following week. Worked with upper management to compare pricing of products to ultimately maximize product margins. I administered invoice processing and purchase order reconciliation. I worked for a local landscaping company during the summer months of May-August from 2016-2018. This job required me to work on a team with up to as many of 4 other guys doing labor intensive jobs. The most common jobs I did while landscaping were putting in/taking out rock and mulch, replacing plants, trimming trees, laying pavers, and driving machinery. For this job I had to pay very close attention to detail because all of these task were very dangerous to myself as well as to the other workers. I had to follow a specific set of directions while laying block or pavers. I had to be very attentive at all times while operating the machinery. I had never performed some of the tasks or operated some of the equipment before while landscaping. I was given task to do, however very little time to learn every job. Every job site we went to was different and had different task that were to be completed. Some days my boss would give me and another worker a job site to finish and would expect us to have it finished in a reasonable amount of time. He trusted us with operating the machinery without him there and honored that we would report to him as soon as possible. I was asked to come back after my first year working there and was given a raise to full time. I have built many great relationships with my co-workers. It was an eye opening experience that allowed me to try new things and develop rational and independent skills quickly. Show less
