Building and farming wetland kalo patches (loi) in the spring waters of Maunawili Valley. Regularly working alongside to teach volunteers and youth groups. Work consisted of cutting Hao forest to clear the spring, using shovels to dig loi patches and mound mud rows, farming kalo, and processing kalo into poi.
