  working from shop floor up through the ranks into a team leader position working on the class 318 then onto the biggest project that wabtec has undertaken class 321 renatus, where i became team leader and after a few short months supervisor over seeing over 80+ staff at anyone time. of all trades electricians, fitters, vehicle builders all working from a bare shell to final product. safety, quality and customer satisfaction been our main goal, while striving to achieve these in minimal hours as possible. nearing the end of the contract I was privileged to become interim production manager to see the contract out, looking into how to finish the project and retain any lost profits through MRB process. this then helped me move to another area of site where I was again had the opportunity to carry on doing the interim production manager role to support the underframe area of the new HST contract. I have now currently gone out of my comfort zone and taken the opportunity of learning the weld area and supervising 60 staff. Show less

  running the interior fit section while also over seeing the joiner shop area and running of two CNC 's 3 Axis and 5 axis chronso machine capable of manufacturing moulds to fit on 32 foot motorhomes.
