I recommend Shane Ash as a very capable production engineer and project manager. As I was working remotely from the production environment, Shane provided invaluable support in implementing security modifications to a naval platform. He effectively project managed an upgrade to 20 doors, liaising with planners and production staff to ensure a very successful outcome. When anomalies were identified by production staff, Shane found solutions and proactively redlined drawings. For his work on this task, which was outside his nominal responsibility Shane was recognized by ASC with a very well deserved award. I greatly appreciated Shane's support and recommend him.

Anthony B.

I commend Shane for both his technical skill and his exemplary team management. His enthusiasm, drive and focus, on a daily basis, ensured that we consistently achieved our team milestones. Shane is a no nonsense achiever who is driven by clear principles and a desire to take his team on a successful journey.

I started as a contract Designer and moved up into a staff role and ultimately into a Project Manager/ Team Leader role. I started on Eurofighter Typhoon as an electrical designer, I then moved into GKN as staff, I progressed onto leadership of the Typhoon activities than moved onto the F35 Joint Strike Fighter (JSF) in support of Northrop Grumman Corp (NGC) tasks where I worked as a Designer. I later trained (CADDS5) and worked in the UK on the Type 45 Destroyer in Glasgow and led a small team in Australia (Stage 2/3 activities). I participated in Business Development activities for Project “Holly” (BAE Marine) bid team as a key maritime resource for an un-named customer. I progressed to Team Leader/ Project Manager on JSF Aft Weapons Bay (CTOL/ CV) for Lockheed Martin (LM) where I lead a team of 35+ Engineers/ Designers across various Design and Stress related activities. I lead the team with Customer and other stakeholder liaison, embedding key people in Fort Worth TX, USA. I undertook multiple trips to the USA and via my efforts in leadership and customer communications received multiple awards for myself and the team’s efforts. The team’s efforts ultimately lead to the JSF Integrated Test Force (ITF) engaging the company in further design work (FTI) in our areas of expertise in the Aft Weapons Bay. In a short time growing into a separate team of people and leadership. Tasking eventually ceased in Australia due solely to exchange rate issues and not to any company/ team deficiencies. The customer to this day remains incredibly happy with the team’s efforts.
