Through the IEEE Software Engineering Colloquium, 24 May 2012, Old Mutual Park, Cape Town, I was introduced to Shanaaz Taliep and her team at Skylar (Events). Due to excellent service from Shanaaz and her team at the time, we partnered with Skylar once again - on this occasion, we hosted the IEEE Region 8 Nominations and Appointments (N&A) committee in Cape Town and surrounding areas (20-22 Aug. 2012). The N&A meeting comprised a leisure and business component: the hosting of our delegates as well as the support to our delegates during the stay was exceptional, and Shanaaz went "out of her way" in extending the South African hospitality.
