Tasked with setting up a motion sensor based led lighting sensor that is being displayed at the Projector-Golden Mile Tower during Singapore's Art Week. I was working alongside Artist Victoria Hertel and her team in actualizing her project. The setup relied on RGB LED lightings and ultrasonic sensors that changed colors differently upon object detection. HomePal Technology leverage on computer vision and IOT to advance elder care remote monitoring capability. My internship with HomePal revolves : - Interfacing with thermal cameras (AMG8833,MLX90640), PIR Sensors, Ultrasonic Sensors for fall detection. - Usage of Raspberry Pi and Arduino Uno as microcontrollers to interface with sensors - Numpy, Matplotlib, Seaborn for data visualisation - IOT with MQTT Protocol , Bluetooth and Radio Communication between microcontrollers and raspberry pi -leveraged on SVM and LibSVM Algorithm written by colleague to test and train falling, sitting , walking data. Achieved remarkable accuracy of 97.5% for over a couple of hundreds of test and training data -Telegram bot creation. I created a telegram bot which sends alert whenever a fall is detected by the thermal camera alongside with key information like date and time of fall and the location of fall. This allows health care workers to be more efficient in responding to fall incidents without the need to be at the premise. Show less
