I worked with Shamima in a partnership between Tech London Advocates Tech For Disability and Policy Connect's ATech Policy Lab during the 2022 London Tech Week conference for a joint event on Digital Inclusion and disability after the pandemic. Despite the tight timing, she successfully brought together all the panel speakers and agenda in time for the event. She also connected all the various organisers across the groups to pool resources on marketing and logistics so it worked flawlessly despite challenges at times. She was calm and collected under pressure and planned all the subject matter around digital inclusion and disability, which has been an urgent and topical issue combining technology and social domain knowledge equally. She managed the flow of the agenda and elicited many useful responses and insights from a diverse set of expert panellists and the audience in a hybrid event. I enjoyed the collaboration and look forward to more opportunities to collaborate on similar events.
