I managed a multi-million-pound pilot project working across England in multiple organsiations. This included planning, supporting and monitoring all aspects the project and managing a dispersed team who, in partnership with our federated member services, designed and delivered the project interventions. This project was on budget, within time and was successfully piloting interventions and making impact on whole system change within their areas. Increased access to palliative care services for BAME by building relationships with local community organisations, community members and other stakeholders as well as researching and addressing the barriers to accessing services. Managing all aspects of the project, including community engagement, stakeholder management, staff training, reporting, budget, media coverage, resource development as well as managing staff including volunteers. This intervention and service re-design achieved an 112% increase in service users, significantly higher than target of 21%. After this unprecedented success, I set up a sustainability plan to embed the project into every day practice at Marie Curie as well as successfully bid for a follow-on project worth £200,000.
