Shalini was engaged as the senior learning advisor for the School of Engineering from the beginning of 2018 until the end of 2020. As Associate Dean Teaching and Learning for the School of Engineering during this time, I worked very closely with Shalini throughout this period. I found her to be an exceptionally passionate and capable member of the team who was able to work effectively with both academics within the school and with students. Her enthusiasm and commitment to her work was a great asset to the school, and both the staff and students greatly appreciated her contributions. The students, in particular, greatly valued her very positive demeanour, approachability and willingness to assist in any way she could. She provided many positive contributions to the school, both in terms of her great support for the students, but also in terms of the embedded resources she created to support the delivery of academic and study skills in many of the core engineering units. I would highly recommend her for any position to which she aspires.

Working with Shalini has been an inspiring experience. Her incredible attention to detail and immense drive for perfection has been highly contagious. I am very proud to recommend her latest guide to academic success - a document which I strongly believe shall greatly smoothen the often tumultuous transition from high school to university. A 'must' for all university freshers!
