In my capacity as a researcher for the UCLA Smart Grid and Energy Research Center, I have developed my technical writing skills as I wrote grant proposals and communicated technical drawings. In addition to this I worked with the research team to troubleshoot and manage a sensory array used for the mechanical testing of High Voltage Transmission lines. Thus, I am familiar with Electrical test hardware. Furthermore, I am modeling Smart Grids, using MATPOWER and IEEE Distribution Bus systems. • Authored documentation for SMERC's grant proposal for the California Energy Commissions RHETTA grant. • Supervised a sensor array for mechanical testing of 8 high voltage transmission lines under simulated operating conditions. • Collected and systematized sensor data from a network of 16 sensors for analysis without error. • Analyzed diagrams, written and verbal communications to troubleshoot component failures. • Optimized 3 IEEE Distribution Bus Systems for Renewable Energy integration through Load Flow Analysis.
