Will Perone
Shai is one of the most dedicated and intelligent engineers I've ever worked with. During his time at Wicked Fun, he officially was a server engineer but he also took on ops work, client engineering, build engineering among other things. He set up a lot of the infrastructure we use for building and deploying our game in a multiplatform way with a distributed infrastructure around the globe. Shai also has had a lot of great ideas around design of the game and is great at translating design speak into engineering speak as well as dealing with things being in flux. His task estimates and ability to analyze tradeoffs are also great and he gets tasks done super fast. Shai sets the bar for engineers to live up to.

Wrote chat lobby switching functionality in our chat server allowing users to switch lobbies cross-process and cross-server seamlessly. Stabilized server code with a goal of zero crashes. Worked on most game features including: quests, achievements, account/hero/aura leveling, single player trials, matchmaking, account linking, profanity filter.
