I am excited to take on this new role with the primary focus being the pursuit of excellence in academics and faith formation in the Catholic Schools in the state of South Carolina. I embrace the opportunity to work with diocesan religious and administrative leaders, the Diocesan School Advisory Council (DSAC), principals, teachers, pastors, and families to set strategic direction for the future and build support for new initiatives focused on innovation and continuous improvement throughout the Diocese of Charleston. I will continue to focus on curriculum and instruction through creating professional development opportunities for teachers and principals to enhance their growth, especially in the areas of academics and Catholic Identity. In this new role, I sit on the leadership team for the Catholic Schools Office, advise the superintendent on all academic programs, and manage all key initiatives involving curriculum and instruction (preschool through high school).

Principal, 07/2013 to Current St. Anne Catholic School, Diocese of Charleston – Rock Hill, South Carolina Oversee all operations of the school from preschool through high school graduation. Work collaboratively with Advancement Team and School Advisory Council leading efforts in the areas of development, enrollment, alumni engagement, marketing, and community relations. Through continued strategic planning and school improvement initiatives expanded school to become the first K3-12 school in the diocese. Opened the high school in 2014 with six students; enrollment projected to hit 85 for 20-21 school-year. Prepare school budget annually and responsibly managed all finances through collaboration with parish finance council to remain debt-free. Creatively spearheaded renovation projects to allow for enrollment growth and worked collaboratively with St. Philip Neri Parish (Fort Mill, SC) to move high school temporarily to a building on its campus. Created the Pope Francis Center for Student Success to address the needs of diverse learners and serve all students seeking a Catholic education. Empowered faculty through the development of a leadership team. Implemented MAP (Measures of Academic Progress) and served as a pilot for other schools in the diocese. Built and maintain positive relationships with all stakeholders. Conduct human resource operations, including hiring, training, disciplinary action and termination. Define and enforce student academic achievement standards in line with Diocesan goals and objectives. Served on Diocesan Committees: Academic Excellence, Teachers Education Conference, Catholic Identity Diocesan Task Force.
