      Secondary control in DC microgrids Control objectives of dc microgrid is to ensure equal load sharing among sources; In this project a robust sliding mode controller (SMC) for boost convertors is purposed to harvest energy from renewable resources. Because of non-minimal phase nature of boost convertor, the current dynamics become unstable when output voltage is considered to be the only control variable. In this project a complete SMC and PI controller are designed and implemented since dc- dc converters are non-linear hence linear conventional control techniques are not suitable for these converters.
