  I am currently employed by TFG as a Test Analyst for the Customer Relationship Management team. I am responsible for the test execution of Rewards (loyalty program for TFG). My responsibilities include test planning, execution and defect logging, monitoring and tracking. I currently test the Rewards orchestration system front end, backend API systems as well as TFG Point of Sale (POS) systems, my key responsibility for POS testing is the Rewards component thereof. As the role of QA test analyst I am required to review project documentation and build test cases off the signed off requirements. Once test cases are drafted and development is complete, I do functional testing of the new feature based off the requirement documents. Any defects found are logged to the developers and tracked by me to completion. I work very closely with the Business Analyst and developers on a daily basis. Once all functional testing is complete I am involved in Systems integration testing with all downstream systems and lastly I complete regression testing on the Rewards system as well as POS systems – these regression testing packs have been created by me when I started with the company. Before new features are released to production, I do a UAT sign-off whereby I facilitate a review session to the business stakeholders.   I was promoted at Spree to QA Team Lead to manage and lead the QA Team to deliver on roadmap items for the Spree website which consisted of a frontend, Mobile App and API teams. I was responsible for communicating necessary changes and required to drive and deliver the roadmap items for the Spree Products in accordance with the original roadmap or any agreed upon changes to the roadmap based on a structured change request process.I was responsible for ensuring all requirements had test cases and made sure the test coverage included positive and negative scenarios. I was required to ensure regression testing always included the critical flow test cases and that any new features that were going to be released to production would not negatively impact the current implementation in production.As part of my role as QA team lead I was required to plan the QA processes by attending all Sprint related meetings in order to create sub-tasks and tests for all stories as well as ensuring that the rest of the QA team did the same with regard to the teams which they tested for. I planned test scenarios for all the possibilities that could exist in the scope of a task/feature. I needed to ensure that there was a proper plan in place to complete the task/feature within the sprint and made sure that my team knew what the priority items were that they needed to work on and deliver. I started at DVT in February 2012 and spent one month in the head office getting training in the testing environment and also spent this time to study towards obtaining my ISEB - ISTQB foundation certificate. I was then placed at Old Mutual since March 2012 to join Global Edge Technologies and work on the UK Proposition Phase 3 Project. My key role areas are as follows, I gained experience in both the test analyst and tester positions, I was required to read and extract test scenarios from specification documents and draw up test cases, as well as execute the test cases and raise defects upon failure of test cases. I gained a lot of experience at GET as this project was very big and required us to work under-pressure, which I managed to handle well; the project was successfully deployed in December 2012.
