-Successfully spearheaded and pursued till completion an initiative to designate Veteran and Active Military Parking throughout Jackson, Wyoming -Coordinated with the Town Council, Public Works, local law enforcement, the American Legion, and other local entities to designate Veteran and Active Military Parking throughout Jackson Hole -Successfully fundraised the project in full from ideation to final manufacturing and construction through regional outreach -Coordinated several veteran luncheons at local schools to foster a relationship between veterans and students On Memorial Day 2017, after 9 months of working on the project, six Veteran and Military Parking spaces were officially available to the public. The sign above each space was formatted as a poem with words handpicked by local students to thank veterans and active military for their service. Current spaces can be found around Jackson, Wyoming including at the public library, local restaurants, and the hospital.
