I worked with Shad as a procurement supervisor in one of the countries (Ghana) he supervised on all matters regarding Supply Chain as well as occasionally in Côte D’Ivoire and Equatorial Guinea. One of his numerous leadership traits was ensuring that anything done anywhere was done with transparency, integrity and fairness; an invaluable trait for a procurement professional and a quality that I greatly admired and ascribed to, which saw and contributed to the Supply Chain Team recognized by The Ghana Ministry for Procurement and awarding us twice for excellence in Supply Chain and Procurement, which is rare in a country like Ghana and it’s telling on his leadership abilities and what he will bring to table of any organization. I worked with Shad at Kosmos Energy. He was manager of Supply Chain Management, and oversaw the tendering process, evaluation of tenders, the award process, and eventually contracting the material purchase or service. Shad always was aware of the status of required materials or services once commitments were made. Shad also oversaw delivery and QA/QC of materials in foreign countries of operations, as well as supervision of SCM personnel in those countries. Shad's work was always organized and current. Shad would be a great asset for anyone needing help in these disciplines. He is a hard worker and dedicated to performance.
