As the public policy associate, I served as a legislative advocate during the Vermont legislative session, provided analysis of key issues and policies that affect children and youth, coordinated community outreach efforts and assisted in mobilizing individuals and organizations to support advocacy efforts. I also continued to do much of the outreach and project coordination work for the Dental Therapy project, a multi-state effort supported by the Kellogg Foundation to increase access to dental care by adding a new profession to the dental team.
