Shabnam and I worked together on a challenging project and tight deadlines for about two years. She is an accurate, dedicated, and hard-working person. I highly recommend Shabnam if you need to get the job done!

Shabnam is one of the best among all people I have ever met and is a loyal colleague who understands complex matters. Her responses are timely and value-added. She makes sure all the deadlines are met and makes sure that whatever project she is working on meets the highest standards. I highly recommend her!

Satis AI Vision Kitchen Brain analyses cooking and packing processes from live data and gives actionable feedback to staff in real-time. As a member of the AI team, we use data that come from the vision models to create a pipeline for training an ml model for packaging and food items. Lab demonstrator for the principle of machine learning course. We are responsible to have quick lectures on concepts such as classification and clustering for students. Guild them to use sklearn and keros library to build deep learning models and also work with NumPy and Pandas for statistical and math usage. Help them to troubleshoot their codes and the challenges they face during the machine learning projects. Lab demonstrator for the principle of machine learning course. Working on newsbx, a social media listening tool, used by clients to collect audience reaction to their brand or particular topic of interest. This is done by crawling data from various social media channels such as Instagram and Twitter, with focus on certain keywords. The crawlers produce streams of data in Kafka, which is then gathered in Elastic search for further analysis. We have then developed a Flask(Python) application which exposes APIs for various social media sources to retrieve content as well as value added meta information such as language and sentiment. Same service is capable of filtering out unreal and robot generated contents. A series of batch processes run these analyses on a regular basis, where workers are managed via celery, producing protobuf messages which are then stored in redis. These ongoing events then analyse with respect to certain predefined requirements by clients to help them prioritise attention to certain content they care more about, within a portal design for this purpose. The portal uses mongodb and elastic-search to store and retrieve this information. As one of the more experienced members of the team, I was responsible for planning and organising the work for an extension to this platform which was broadcasting scheduled social media posts in reaction to certain events. We provided an accounting and billing system for the national telecommunication company, on top of the AAA servers for ISPs and PrePaid VoIP/Dial Up/Lan services. The system, written in Python, analysed the stream of data, using the radius|diameter packets of the user’s roaming, to calculate usage and bill for the customers. This role required an extended set of skills to model complex domains, from third parties, without basic access to documentation. Through my role, I also assumed the lead role, taking roadmap objectives and defining technical strategy for delivering them, alongside an engineering team. Show less

The product of the company is a SaaS application written in .Net by order of the Iran's Ministry of Health to automate medical processes such as establishing a hospital. We use SQL Server to store customers data and complex stored-procedures to fetch the data. I was responsible for analyzing and mapping the medical process to their corresponding production ready algorithms. We also created a directory of hospitals and search facility to retrieve information given certain filters. I developed a Hybrid application for Android using Cordova and Handlebars which allows users to find the nearest hospital, and relevant information using users current location, written by Javascript. I was the lead developer in a non-native mobile application project for monitoring the chiller system in a hospital. The back-end of the project was written in Node.js to receive the chiller’s data from the hospital. The front-end of the project is developed using Cordova and Javascript is applicable for showing the chiller's status in a visual map and sending a push notification alarm to the user if the chiller temperature exceeds the target degree. UMAI provides a contextual food suggestion app that would help users track their food intake intelligently. I was part of a remote team working on an ecosystem of web scrapers to collect recipes from many websites. These then transformed into a uniform presentation to use for recommendation and nutrition calculation. Scrapers were created using Scrappy/Python. A list of URLs was stored in a Rabbit-MQ topic. For each address after crawl, page content was stored in a Cassandra in-memory table. I also contributed to the backend for food logging and suggestion, which was implanted in Java using the spring framework. Show less
