  This is my current temporary work with BRITISH TELECOM (BT) Supply Chain as a Stock Controller/Stores Person which involves the following tasks: • Use of internal systems such as TRAX (Internal dispatch system), SPARS (data input) and EASC (to issue stocks and maintain data) by adhering to company procedures • Receiving delivery and replenishing stock, deal with returns, dispatch goods, resolve or escalate internal and external customer queries via email, post, telephone and in person • Serving our customers over our in-house counter • Requires good knowledge of Engineering products and great customer service • Conduct daily inventory check, prepare daily/weekly reports to Management, analyse and deal with discrepancies in a timely manner. • Raise invoices to the correct cost centre; Order new stock as required • Able to adapt and understand the new arriving technologies and adhere to company's new rules/regulations in fast moving technology world. • Train and teach new Scanning/products/systems to Open reach engineers as well as train new staff on processes and procedures • Maintain the store in an organised and structured manner • Liaise with Inventory planner/supplier to resolve any system/stock ordering issues Show less
