It’s my pleasure to write this recommendation for Seth Salzman and Sinclair Consulting. My partners and I decided to launch a food truck business and Seth was recommended to us. Seth’s knowledge of the restaurant business in all aspects was readily apparent during our first meeting. At that meeting, he listened attentively to our plans and immediately shared insights, advice and recommendations. When we were ready to begin building out our commissary space, we engaged Seth’s company to help us with the design and implementation of our kitchen. Seth assisted us in design, equipment specifications and in finding and choosing an equipment dealer, smallwares dealer and general contractor. Through his connections, we were able to save a significant amount of money in the process. When we were ready to launch our trucks, we brought Seth in to be a part of our food committee, assisting in food tastings and recommendations on our menu products, etc. As we move forward growing our business, Sinclair consulting will continue to be a partner. Seth has great attention to detail, knowledge and tenacity in making sure that all promises are delivered upon and expectations are either met or exceeded. I would highly recommend using Seth as a consultant and trusted advisor in any foodservice venture.

It has been my great pleasure to serve on the ACSS board with Seth Salzman. Beyond just being a board member, Seth is also deeply committed Social Enterprise Committee member. Within a month of his joining the committee, Seth led a complete reversal in fortunes of ACSS’s small brunch restaurant, Café 458. It had been losing money for some time, but his analysis and quick work turned the venture profitable. He then used his numerous restaurant contacts and affiliations to procure desperately needed equipment. Beyond just his impact with the Café, Seth has guided the Social Enterprise Committee in exploring other industry ventures. His insights and contacts have been invaluable as other franchise opportunities for ACSS have presented themselves, in areas as unrelated as commercial cleaning. In addition to being extremely knowledgeable in the restaurants and franchise systems, Seth is one of the most amiable and helpful persons I know.
