I have come to work together with Serkan at Petkim for 3 years in the scope of a real time optimization project associated with EO/EG plant, which contained both reactor modelling and kinetic experimentation work packages. I can definitely point out that he’s really keen on doing any technical work with full understanding and accuracy. Apart from technical issues, he has high intellectual profundity and this allows him to bring the matter to the table. With his strong scientific background, I believe he will be a great candidate to an R&D team.

After having known Serkan in my lab, I've observed that he's highly goal-oriented and an objective thinker. His inquisitive nature could be a driver behind his success as a researcher. I believe Serkan's contributions will undoubtedly prove valuable to any organization or company he joins.

Developed a method of assaying the photochemical and photo-oxidative properties of anatase phase titanium dioxide thin films. Performed atomic-scale surface and phase analysis, determined extent of organic pollultion degradation in solution, and prepared and modified thin films using coating, annealing, and ion-implantation techniques. Taught fundamental chemistry laboratory courses to undergraduate students.
