Worked in the credit & collections department. My day consisted of attempting to collect past due balances on accounts and providing exceptional customer service while doing so. I worked on finding new ways to show the customer how paying their owed debt would benefit them. I worked on collecting as much past due balances and offered payment options and plans to the customers. Worked in the credit & collections department. My duties consisted of preparing a crew of 10-20 guys to work on line clearance. Our crews were spread out in the Southwest región of Arkansas. On a daily basis, I would conduct safety meetings, review maps for the work needed done, supervise crew members, etc. I reported to upper management on a daily basis as well as to the safety manager. We would make sure all crew members were operating safely on a day to day basis at all times. During this time, I learned a lot about people skills, communication, and management. Show less
