  Coordinate the activities related to the production process of aluminum and copper rod of different aluminum alloys and pure copper in a Properzi line/Upcast process for the industry of electrical conductors, involving personnel, inputs and raw materials, quality standards and management indicators. Review, update and communicate process sheets with all process and production variables involved with the production of aluminum rod different alloys and from electrolytic copper. Active participation in activities related to continuous improvement of the production process, cost reduction and increment of productivity. Use of Minitab software for performing statistical analysis (Cp, Cpk) for the production for keeping process variables tuned. Different activities involving housekeeping, 5’s and safety. As achievements we stabilized the production line (increased the contact time) and we saw an increase of productivity of 17% and reduced natural gas consumption by 22% in the last two years. This has to do with reducing downtimes and increasing contact time on the line with the help of the Maintenance and Quality Departments. Show less

As achievements our natural gas consumption (higher variable expense of an aluminum smelter) stabilized and further reducing by 42% over 4 years. We also got a 54% increase in productivity and a reduction in variable cost of production by 11% within 3 years.
