In charge of managing the textile, samples and quality control department, my main duties include: Sourcing and buying textiles for each season’s, Mostly Denim and Knit which are our strongest markets based on: sustainability, upcoming fashion trends, specific customer needs, price, quality, estimated delivery dates and inventory demand, always working along with planning to make sure budget goals are achieved and working hand in hand with customs department to make sure goods are delivered in the best possible schedule and also the best possible rate. My responsibilities also include: Color range development, producing samples of the fabrics sourced to analyze what to buy, designing and producing garments to present the company's new products and support the sales team, approving lab dips, handlooms and shipping samples, quality control, product display and fabric samples for sales. In addition: providing complete information of trends, color and technical information of our product to the sales team and clients, supporting the sales team with client's meetings, managing graphic design, organizing trade shows, new collections presentations, workshops and events. Twice a year we attend: Tex world Paris, Premiere Vision Paris and King pins, also visit China (specifically our factories), and as a complement we make around 2 to 3 cool hunting trips to study the global Market.
