The student organization (Electrical Engineering STudent's European assoCiation) I have been a member of has a Training Team whose goal is to pass on knowledge and experiences to it's younger members. Becoming part of that team was a big challenge since only 15% of applications get accepted. After 2 weeks of immense trainings I gained the necessary qualifications and knowledge on how to design and deliver a soft skills based training on my own, based on the needs of the participants. As an EESTEC trainer I have delivered over 100 hours of soft skills trainings to students all around Europe. These trainings are interactive and cover a vast amount of subjects from Body Language, Emotional Intelligence, Leadership Skills, Communication Skills, Negotiation Skills, Delegation, Team Building, Conflict Management and Presentation Skills etc. Each training is at least 4 hours and requires weeks of preparation, which includes reading books on related subjects, talking with fellow trainers and researching.Delivering Trainings since 2013 is one of the most exciting experiences in my life so far since it combines learning and teaching. Learning because I have the opportunity to study thoroughly interesting subjects, and teaching because I have creative control to organize and design the flow of the training specified 100% on the participants' needs and finally deliver it and witness the satisfaction of passing on knowledge, ideas and perspectives to other people.

My passion for travelling, meeting new people and cultures led me to develop, on my own, my photography skills. After countless hours of online Photography Courses via Coursera, Photoshop tutorials from Phlearn, and many more hours on YouTube I managed to evolve my style and skill exponentially, along with my thirst for knowledge . This resulted in becoming a professional freelancer since last year where I have worked for some companies by delivering related projects. Currently I only upload my work on my Instagram profile where I have 2.3K followers. My own website is under construction.https://www.instagram.com/serafeimzor/

As a student getting ready to enter the job market I realized there was a big gap from university to the job market. We realized that student's never officially gained the necessary soft skills either from school nor from university in order to apply them in their job, thus entering the job market completely unaware of what was to come and employers wouldn't choose them since they were unexperienced. Thus inspired from other European countries we took the intiative with 4 other students and organized the first "Soft Skills Academy" in Athens. Where we would provide these necessary skills on a 2 day intense workshop for the applicants, for free.I was the Coordinator of a 5 member team which was responsible in organizing the "Soft Skills Academy", a 2 day workshop where 40 students were selected (from 200) to participate. in a total of 4 interactive soft skills based trainings (4 hours each). The subjects were: Communication Skills, Presentation Skills, Creativity and Emotional Intelligence. The trainers were professionals. My main obligation was to maintain a steady course towards our vision, organise my team memebers, make sure their tasks were completed according to our timeline, held meetings and finally was responsible for mentoring each team member to make sure they were constantly improving.Reflecting on this project after 2 years, I am very glad that it has continued succesfully and that a strong foundation has been set making it an annual event. "Soft Skills Academy" has gained an amazing reputation, since more than half of the participants are immediately employed after the workshop and only last year we had more than 700 applications. These numbers are setting the standard even higher for future participants. As a founder I hope the future organizing committees propel the event 1 step closer to it's vision.

Job Fair Athens is a 2-day event aiming to bridge the gap between companies and university, employment wise. Our vision is “We dream of a Greece where all young people will consciously choose their professional path and will be equipped with all the skills necessary for their success in it.” It is the biggest project I have worked on. Both budget and people wise. The budget was 5 digits and we had to coordinate ~100 volunteers. To break it down we organized a 2 day fair where big companies such as Google, Microsoft, Oracle and Workable tried to find potential employees. More than 3k people visited the fair and more than 2k interviews took place.I was a member of the core organizing committee where I had to assess our needs, create a marketing campaign, contact potential media sponsors and create the promo content for all social media which we were managing (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, G+, LinkedIn). My team had ~60 volunteers which I was responsible for monitoring. This was an eye-opening project and a life changing experience, I learned working in a fully functional team, managed to communicate and negotiate with large corporations, held important meetings, succesfully managed conflicts and problems and witnessed the results of a year long effort in just 2 days and the fact it was voluntary made it even more substantial, since we all had a deeper motive to approach our vision and help our fellow student's find a job in the competitive job market of Greece.
