Given ownership of replacing an internal pipeline for onboarding new entities within Fuse's multi-million dollar global network of partnerships. Solution gives the ability to plugin new or improved automation to replace manual or slow existing steps in the pipeline. Able to speedup existing pipeline from 3-7 days to a few hours or even lower, and removing potential for human error. - Analyzed existing system and APIs to identify limitations and risk. Architecture design of developer-friendly, modular, and rapidly scalable serverless pipeline. - Built solution with AWS Lambda and CDK, making use of several design patterns for high modularity and testability, and added robust continuous integration and deployment. Documented and presented system to organization, and demonstrated effective usability by having other developers try building a new automation to plug into the pipeline. - Managed scope and risk of project, carefully tracking and projecting progress in order to deliver solution in just 2.5 months. Also took charge of feature intake for the internal tool developed last year that handled price changes and auditing for the entities provided to customers.
