Chuck Sembroski

I have worked closely with Scott since 2006 when he first joined my group working on GeoProbe. Speaking frankly, when it comes to understanding complex geometry and 3d graphics programming, Scott is the best I have ever met, bar none. He sees and clearly articulates multiple ways to solve complex problems. He also delivers working prototypes (and patent applications) on problems thought to be impossible. Scott brings his soccer coaching experience to every development team where he uses it both for mentoring and for setting and communicating strategic direction. It is a pleasure to work with Scott and I give him my highest recommendation.

Scott is one of those rare individuals that has a way of capturing your attention and building your interest regardless of the topic. I always enjoyed my courses when he taught them, and sought out his guidance even outside of the classroom. It was very valuable to have encountered an instructor with actual experience outside of the classroom and textbooks. He was able to paint a realistic view and make the what were mundane topics more relatable. He challenged me to go beyond the textbooks and think in practical terms. How many people can say that they actually keep in contact with their professor from college? He went from being an instructor to mentor to friend.
