  As a CRISS worker, I provide intensive support for people who are experiencing a severe mental health crisis. The role involves within a multi-disciplinary team, and together we provide urgent mental health assessments and develop a plan of care, to support service user recovery. My part aims to prevent admission and readmission to inpatient care, and help service users to create effective mechanisms when dealing with a crisis.

• Perinatal Mental Health Development Worker

  In this role, my colleague and I, provide infrastructure support and facilitation for people, groups and organisations, across Leeds, who offer peer support during the perinatal period. The aim is to ensure there is a city-wide, self-governing perinatal mental health peer supporter alliance by March 2021. The Alliance will complement the more formal PNMH services that are currently on offer in Leeds.
