Provides legal support to five Assistant District Attorneys in the Felony Division Maintains a large felony caseload and responsible for preparing cases for weekly District Court dockets Prepares legal documents and ensures that they are filed with the District Clerk's Office in a timely manner Requests Judgment and Sentences, Pen Packets, Offense Reports, and other legal documents needed for court from out of county agencies Arranges appointments with witnesses for pre-trial meetings with Assistant District Attorneys Responsible for maintaining the Unindicted Arraignment Docket which can be over 50 cases on a weekly basis, includes extensive case research and attending court Responsible for preparing and e-filing Petitions, Default Judgments, and Agreed Judgments for Asset Forfeiture cases Responsible for tracking and checking status of Asset Forfeiture cases Assists the general public, defense attorneys, law enforcement, and other government agencies with their inquiries Show less
