I engage with a variety of community stakeholders to advance mental health for the international community in Japan. I coordinate presentations, workshops, and trainings; develop materials and curricula; procure and administer grants; and partner with likeminded agencies to deliver essential services to community members. Stakeholders include schools, universities, embassies, NPOs and NGOs, community organizations, professional associations, and companies. In addition to working with a team of mental health and adjacent professionals to deliver presentations, I also personally do a fair amount of public speaking, giving presentations, visiting schools and universities, and participating in media appearances in both print media, podcasts, and more. I am part of our social media team, and participate in a social media advisory board for mental health safety. I also oversee our intern program, recruiting, hiring, managing, and mentoring our steady stream of interns.
