My dad saw an opportunity to help his prior employer who was experiencing complications with receiving crucial parts for remaining operational. This is how he formulated the idea of starting this business and it has been an absolute pleasure watching it grow while also remaining mindful of the values and purpose behind its existence. My time spent here is now fairly infrequent, but the years have taught me the importance of perfectionism while also maintaining an efficient status. My experience with Target was such a unique one as I was doing something new every single day in order to become adequately trained and able to operate the store from an executive position. I learned the ins and outs of each department, developed lifelong connections with both guests and fellow team members, and worked towards positive development of location statistics. Beach Attendant, Cashier, Reservationist

I began with the company as a beach attendant at Portofino Island Resort which entailed setting up and putting away chair and umbrella sets for guests, recording payment information to be posted to the guests’ rooms for their equipment rentals, and handling any requests with a positive and hospitable attitude. I transferred to a new branch of the umbrella company in June of 2017, Laguna’s Adventure Park, and became a cashier which involved handling cash and card transactions, carrying out opening and closing operations, training new employees, making parasailing reservations for guests, and supervising children on the ropes course and euro bungee attractions.I was asked to become a full-time reservationist in March of 2020 which gave me the opportunity to focus only on water sports operations. Daily tasks included opening and closing the desk, performing card transactions, making reservations for parasail and the banana boats, escorting guests to the parasail boat, and answering the phone to assist customers.
