  Work as a mechanical engineer on structural designs for experimental aircraft and perform aerodynamic analysis on airfoils and structural components. Design and manufactured air data system mounting components for experimental rotorcraft for the ADAPT Program (Adaptive Digital Automated Pilotage Technology). Air data used for verifying control laws which would autonomously pilot the aircraft. Performed Finite Element Analysis and Natural Frequency Bending Mode Analysis in design work. Verified OpenFOAM CFD data from previous workers and learned to perform experiments in CFD with the program. Used XFOIL to simulate aerodynamic significance of trailing edge flaps at multiple angles. Gained valuable experience in the structure of the professional engineering design process. Attended design reviews and worked with CTO of the corporation to finalize my own design work.
