As an accomplished Workday professional, looking for new roles can be a difficult search. When you can be picky about a role, the list of roles you will consider shrinks. There were hundreds of positions out there that I was qualified to do, but I was not looking for the next job. I was looking for the perfect job. Seena contacted me about a role he thought I would be a good fit for. I explained my somewhat unusual "picky" conditions for the new role were. He completely understood my request. Seena is quite unusual himself. He himself has been in the Workday ecosystem at a very high level. He understands the tool. He understands the business needs, and most importantly, He understands who would be a good match. Most recruiters spent 20 minutes on the phone with me and thought that I would be a "perfect" fit for their job. Their goals were to selfishly fill the Requisition they had in front of them. Seena told me that I was over-qualified for the role he had. He told me he knew of another that would be a potential fit. I think at this point I rolled my eyes. I had heard that same reply several times and had NEVER received that follow-up call. Shockingly, a few weeks later, Seena called me with an amazing opportunity! Over the next few weeks, he spent time on the phone helping me prep, research and truly understand what the needs of that company were and what the interviews would be like. Sadly, I did not accept the role. What was important about that was I had finally found a recruiting company and recruiter who did what they said. I am now a manager at another company. I will be calling Seena very soon to have him help us find other Qualified workday people. His quality of service and experience elevate him in an industry where interview Ghosting, poor communication by recruiters, and selfish recruiting practices are an everyday experience.
