  My main responsibilities are to utilize my knowledge of animal nutrition to create formulas of feeds produced by the company. There are 3 departments always keeping in touch with the formulation department: laboratory, sales and purchasing department. The purchasing department provides me daily with raw materials up to date prices, laboratory updates all analysis of raw materials and the sales department estimates the percentage of products that will be sold in the coming up month. By using all of those information elements, I create formulas which provide the best for animal nutrition and lowest cost for the company. I also attend the forecasting meetings with other departments to inform them about what kind of raw materials and how much raw materials will be needed for the forthcoming 3 to 6 months. I am also assisting company's field nutritionist to create special TMR for farms which provide raw milk to SUTAS. SUTAS has 13.000 animals in 6 different locations and I as a formulation manager am following up the feed mill's compound feed productions to make sure everything's suited to formulas. Show less
