Within the scope of the Erasmus Internship Program, I received training on how to use BIM-based programs under the supervision of Professor Paulo Jorge Miguel CHARNECA at the University of Algarve between 12/07/2021 and 01/10/2021. In this training, we used the ARCHICAD 25 program. While learning this program, we started a housing project. We recognize that the roles of architects and engineers are equally important in this project and that the . We learned that while architects bring ''innovation'' to the table, engineers must make it ''possible''. In this context, we determined the placement of columns, beams and the type of column in the project and implemented this in our project. At the same time, I had the experience of going to the construction site of this project we are working on and seeing the construction elements in our project. When I was at the construction site, on which floor the production is, what the floor level of the floor is, the number of blacksmith / mold maker workers, the flooring type of the structure, the class and properties of the steel used in the field, the preferred concrete class, how the column / curtain formwork is delivered, and what attention should be paid. I had the opportunity to learn basic information such as how many m³ concrete went to one floor in total, how many tons of construction steel went to one floor in total. Having these experiences outside of my country has had a great impact on me learning the differences in the ways of working between the two countries and improving myself.
