Sebastien was a senior member of the systems group, responsible for the overall system design, performance, controls, certification, and troubleshooting. He has an uncanny ability to understand complex systems and rapidly determine pinch points, optimal test methods, opportunities for improvement. He is an absolutely driven contributor, with examples including; independently becoming a wizard at excel VB scripting, rapid learning of aspen plus simulation modeling, and independent training on mathworks Simulink. As a team member, Sebastien was a model employee, trained junior engineers, reached out to other organizations (Field Service and manufacturing) to assist in training, improve product performance, and assist in optimization of the operation of the product. He was invaluable in the successful certification and launch of the 5 kW power plant, including countless late night experiments as well as travel for manufacturing launch support. If and when I get the opportunity, I would definitely hire Sebastien again.
