I'm working for the Siveco Group entreprise, inside the Technical Center (located at the "miniparc Euromedecine" ar the north of Montpellier, south of France) since the end of February 2006, on the Coswin 7i software, a CMMS project. Siveco Group is a firm that develops a CMMS software (Computerized Maintenance Management System) whose last version in known as Coswin 7i. Having more than 20 years of experiments, the Siveco firm is in the top 3 of the most important societies on the CMMS market and is present at the international inside more than 50 countries and a software available in 16 languages. Almost 65 persons are working at Siveco France, haft on the Technical Center at Montpellier where the Coswin software is developed and the other part on the Head Quarter near Paris. Some distributors and consultants are present at the international. I'm personally working at the development of Coswin 7i, particularly on the Stock part. The software is developed using the Java/J2EE language, with 2-tier and 3-tier versions, available with Oracle and SQL Server DBMS (DataBase Management System). An HTML version also exists. Developer in charge of optimizing audio and video streams quality, decreasing bandwidth consumption and minimizing latency in a web-conference software called WorkSpace3D. I have reduced the elapsed time between the stream emission (microphone, webcam of the issuer) and its playback (speaker, screen of the receiver) from 9 to 6 seconds on average. The delay that could exist and increase during the conference has quite disapeared. An advanced streams management has been aded correct the waiting period. Finally, I made a variable bit rate alteration of the video stream compression to adapt it to the network capacity and its congestion. Show less
