Prototyped a smart shopping cart for supermarkets using Computer Vision, Image Processing, Machine learning, Raspberry and Mobilenet for a Mexican Startup named MyPay.Created a new format for reporting and presenting the weekly progress of each area (computer vision area, design and mechanical area and electronics and power supply area), the time consumption regarding the Gantt of the project development decreased by 40 %.Using descriptors such as ORB, SURF and SIFT for object classification with multiprocessing to create an efficient non-scalable database of supermarket products in the future.Using deep learning models like YOLOV3, V4 and V5 through the darknet, TensorFlow and PyTorch respectively and Mobilenet in order to apply object detention on barcodes from supermarket products when they enter or exits the smart cart.
