Strong impressions last for a long time. It has been over 10 years since I had the pleasure of working alongside Sebastian, so clearly these lines reflect the truth above. He was my closest colleague during my 1-year contract and it is his diligence and humble nature that comes swiftly to mind. When putting in a late-night effort, it was not due to falling behind himself, but in order to prevent other teams from suffering setbacks from event they had not anticipated. Afterwards he would characteristically chose to let the entire team share in the successes, instead of raising his own flag. His skill at talking and listening to both business types and tech types gave him a broad contact surface within the company, that he leveraged to deliver value to our internal clients. For a new-in-town expat like myself, he played a large part in making Singapore a welcoming city. I recommend Sebastian to any employer, that is ready to reward his loyalty, and I do hope for our professional paths to cross again.
