At DICE I’m working within the infrastructure team with my four colleagues, within this team we manage the entire infrastructural environment for 800+ employees as well as an vsphere build environment. Working and managing all layers of the environment as well as Perforce, JIRA and Confluence. On top of that I’ve spent the past year spearheading DICE’s investment in VDI and evolving from physical workstations to virtual ones. Being lead engineer and project manager I’ve both designed, configured and planned the project. Running VMware Horizon on HCI together with NVIDIA Grid. Show less

Responsible for the server deliveries to our our 3 biggest customers. The work I do here is mainly related to server software and hardware, different kinds of installations in Windows server 2012r2, Linux (redhat and sles) as well as vmware ESXI. On top of that there’s also a lot of networking work with switching and routing, configurating and deploying. For the most part I work with servers from HP, Cisco, Lenovo and Oracle. I got very good knowledge of how servers work at hardware level since I’ve done a lot of troubleshooting and hardware configuration. iLO, DMC and other similar systems is something I’ve worked with a lot as well and it’s a critical part of my job right now to make sure the configurations is done correctly. HA installations, different storage installations as well as other operating system installs and configurations daily. Apart from the technical work I do I also work a lot with different kinds of switched and routers, I mainly work with switches from cisco and arista. That work includes configurating, firmware upgrading and troubleshooting. My role also includes project planning, logistics and team leading. I’ve also done a few projects to effectives our workflow in the group and to deliver a better product. Show less

This is where I did both my internships during my education at Lernia. I worked in a group called cloud operations. The people I worked around in this group were all experts in different technical areas so I really learned a lot here regarding virtualization, datacenter, networking, windows server, mysql and other general server knowledge. Here I got to try out a lot of stuffs such as OS installation, server maintenance, linux (redhat & centOS) installations, different kinds of surveillance software and I got a great base knowledge in mysql.
