During my time at Stirling Macedonia, I worked with with an u15s side as an assistant coach and took two u13s sides in consecutive years. The u15s Assistant Coach role required me to work along side a Head Coach to help implement a playing style and inspire tactical and technical work to help players become ready for senior football. Also in this role, I had the responsibility of introducing elements of Strength and Conditioning to all age groups. This included a implementing pre-season testing and assisting with rehabilitation of injured players. Coaching the u13s sides required me to plan, prepare and deliver sessions up to 3 times a week alongside a match day. My role was heavily focussed around player identification at trials and ensuring all training and match day activities were in line with club philosophy and player development.
