  - Norvic Shipping Europe opened their office in Denmark 1st February. We are a small but dynamic and experienced team where I currently have the responsibility for building up the operations department. Ie implementing up new systems like IMOS, making structured guidelines to be used in the day to day work and finding out the most efficient way for us to do things. My daily work consists of: - Operating, mostly handymax up to panamax vessels mainly in Atlantic.. - Contact with owners and charterers on a day-to-day basis - Optimizing voyages, cargo intake, bunkers, speed, time in port etc. - Appointing and liaising with port agents. - Ordering bunkers. - Minimizing voyage expenses. - Assist / guide and discuss with Captains. - Assist owners and Charterers with various requests and keeping them updated. - Optimizing and solving problems in IMOS as a Super-user. - Ensure to have a close dialogue with colleagues (operators and chartering department) in order to share knowledge.
